tater tots camp
Youth Ages 4-6*
The Tater Tots Camp is designed for absolute beginners to the game of soccer.
*campers outside this age group will be welcome, as long as they have no previous experience playing soccer
wHAT WILL THEY LEARN?
- How fun soccer is!
- Basic rules of the game (no hands!)
- Technical fundamentals: dribbling, passing, shooting
- That soccer is really, really fun!
- Teamwork
- FUN!
The Tater Tot staff camp is committed to individualized learning. We guarantee at least a 10:1 camper to staff ratio

$250 for all 3!
Your tater tot is welcome to attend as many or as few sessions as you like. They will be structured similarly, but our games and drills will be unique. All sessions are designed for brand new campers, they do not build on one another

Questions?
What do I need to bring? Just your kiddo, water, your waiver, and fee! (If you have not submitted these already)
What kind of equipment do they need? No equipment required! If they have cleats, cool! But not necessary. Staff will provide balls.
Can I stay and watch? Please do!
What if it rains? If weather looks exceptionally terrible and we are able to move the session, we will. Otherwise it's business as usual
We have a scheduling conflict. Can I get a refund? You may switch to a different session, but no refunds will be given
What if my kid hates it after the first day and doesn't want to return? The staff highly encourages campers to return, as each session will be different. We are confident that your child will be able to get something out of simply being there.
striker/keeper camp
Competitive players 13-18
The Striker/Keeper Camp is designed for intermediate to advanced players. Dedicated time to proper shooting technique and form for field players, and shot stopping techniques for goalkeepers.
Strikers will learn...
- Proper shooting technique
- Body positioning
- Reading the goalkeeper
- Power vs. finesse
- Really cool goal celebrations!
Keepers will learn...
- Hand positioning/shot stopping technique
- Diving technique
- Cutting space
- Reading the shooter
- Mental toughness

About coach mel
Melanie grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah and began playing soccer at 5 years old. Not long after, she joined local club team Firebirds FC and traveled around the country competing in various tournaments. At around 12 years old, she dedicated her focus to goalkeeping full time and became the starter for the club as they competed in regionals and Surf Cup. At 16, she was selected to the Northwest All Star team, and traveled to Sweden, Denmark, and Norway to compete internationally. She attended Judge Memorial Catholic High School, Utah 3A state champs in 2002 and 2003. Upon graduating high school, she received the prestigious Sister Mary Louise award for Most Inspirational out of all male and female student athletes in the school.
She was recruited and received athletic and academic scholarships to play for Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon and was their four year starter. She was co-captain her junior and senior years, and still holds the school record for Most Career Saves. In 2008, she moved to Boise, Idaho and began her coaching career by assisting for various Idaho Rush teams from 2011-2015, Eagle High School from 2016-2017, Owyhee High School from its inception in 2021 to present, Chicas FC in 2021, and Albion women's semi-professional team from 2022 to present. In addition to team coaching, she has been giving private lessons for all ages and abilities since 2011. Melanie still plays and competes at a high level through Southern Idaho Soccer League and Boise Indoor Soccer.
